In this workshop I discuss the reasons why STEAM and Loose Parts play are so important for children and provide a presentation of Loose Parts and STEAM activities that I have provided for children over the years that will inspire teaching staff with new ideas for their classrooms. We discuss how to use Loose Parts as STEAM activities and to create new STEAM materials using loose parts. Participants also get to work creatively with loose parts provided during the workshop!
