In this presentation I discuss the ever growing body of evidence that shows that play is a natural human drive that serves so many of the psychological and educational needs of children. Play is the most powerful force in the life of a child! I also present a slide show of pictures and videos of children at a variety of different types of play and discuss the benefits to the children. This presentation is a great one for introducing staff to the idea of play based learning, and might be a great one for their orientation. It is also a great presentation for new parents to understand the Power of Play!
